October 17th, 2023 marks seven years since the launch of the Neo MainNet. Over these seven years, Neo’s MainNet has grown into a thriving ecosystem encompassing DeFi, NFTs, GameFi, and other major segments of the Web3 industry. We’ve also successfully completed a significant mainnet migration from Neo Legacy to Neo N3.

To commemorate this 7th anniversary, Neo-sponsored communities will come together for the Neo Community Assembly following the Neo APAC Hackathon Hong Kong Finale. This week will be dedicated to discussions, future planning, and community building. Notably, this assembly marks a significant moment, as it is the first time all of Neo’s major development groups have had the opportunity to gather and collaborate in person since before the pandemic. The last community assembly took place in Shanghai in September 2019 and received immensely positive feedback from all participants. The Neo Community Assembly will also provide a unique opportunity for the community to connect with the Hong Kong ecosystem, and meet the innovators behind Neo’s exciting new projects from the APAC Hackathon.
